1. Exit/Sign offmessenger
2. click Start, then Run, type "regedit" and click OK
3.Then go to:

MyComputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger

Click the 'MSNMessenger' key (Do not double click! just highlight it so it should turn blue) then go to the Edit menu, and then click Delete. Click "Yes" to confirm the operation.
4. Install your6 file and sign in!
5. Now you should be able to use MSN Messenger 6!
